Doesn’t work well. Not worth the $

We bought this in December and just tried it.
First the pros: Assembly was easy and the battery charged quickly.
Cons: very difficult to push forward; it needs a front skid plate or something to help it move forward (vs scraping it forward across concrete). It also dies constantly. If it encounters ANY resistance, it quits and has to be restarted. I’m talking 3” of dry powder snow. Going to return it.

Like but drags

Just got to use my new snowblower that I purchased in December as our first measurable snow didn't occur until January 10. Love the ease of no gas and being able to start and stop it without pulling a cord. However, my biggest negative is that it drags on the ground and is VERY difficult to push at times. I even tried tilting it up a bit, which helps, but it still is hard to move. That is a big disappointment. It is rather heavy, so turning it when it's dragging is tough. This seemed harder than shoveling! When it did "glide" like I was hoping it would do, it worked well and threw snow and cleared it well. But again, when it dragged it was a DRAG! Not sure if I'm going to keep this or return. I was so hoping it was going to be a back saver for me.

Thank you for your Feedback!
Please note that the snow swipers will be worn with time going on and then it'll be easier to drag or push.
We deeply appreciate for your feedback and I'll forward it to our R&D Department to improve our product quality in the future.
Any problem, please feel free to contact us.

I Would Recommend

It doesn't snow too much where I'm at in Iowa, enough that I always need a snow blower, but boy did it snow this year. The last two gas snow blowers that I had worked well until they didn't. If left them in storage for a year or so (without using them), it seemed like the engine would gum up to the point where I couldn't use them anymore. I'm hoping this electric snow blower isn't like that.

Also, I like that this model uses a more powerful 80v single battery instead of a couple of drill batteries. Knowing how other devices work that use multiple batteries, once one battery dies, the device stops working regardless of how much energy the other battery has (at minimum it's only as strong as the weakest battery). I assume snowblowers are the same. I also don't have to worry about which batteries are new and which are old to keep from mixing and matching ones that can hold a charge with ones that don't. I hope Powersmart continues to sell these 80v batteries for a long time.

One minor gripe is that it seems to scrape against the cement while using it, but I couldn't tell if that was caused by the ice on top of the cement (with a foot or so of snow on top of the ice) or not.

Also, an even minor grip, it seems a bit too easy for the snow blower to turn off if you let go of the red safety latch, at least compared to the bar that the gas snow blowers that I had have. But I can get used to that.
