Warranty Policy

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

PowerSmart products are backed by a two (2) year limited warranty from the date of original purchase. We warrant that our machines will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

2. Component-Specific Coverage

  • Battery Packs: Covered by a 1-year limited warranty (if applicable).
  • Wear Parts: Items such as blades, belts, spark plugs, and air filters are considered wear items. Covered for 90 days against manufacturing defects only.
  • Replacement Parts & Accessories: Parts purchased separately are covered by a 30-day functional guarantee. This ensures the part is functional upon arrival. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered.

3. Exclusions

  • Improper assembly, maintenance, or neglect
  • Use of stale fuel (more than 30 days old) or incorrect lubricants
  • Commercial, professional, or rental use
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage that does not affect performance

4. How to File a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our Illinois-based support team:

  • Required Information: Order number, model number, and a brief video or photo of the issue

Once verified, PowerSmart will, at its discretion, provide free replacement parts and repair guidance.
