I am overall very pleased with my ordering experience and getting the product in a timely manner in perfect condition. These/All generators must go through a break in process and that was simple because of the design. First fill with oil and then gas before doing anything else!!!! Go easy on the plastic oil plug, especially putting it back on, because it is easy to get cross-threaded. Ran 30-45 mins with zero load then switched off and changed the oil. You can see the totally normal flakes in the oil. Refilled with oil again, which is a breeze with a small funnel, and ran it with 50%+- load for 45 mins. Did a final drain and oil change refilling with full synthetic and it's ready to go now anytime!! Simple to pull start and after a few initial priming pulls to get oil circulation it started on the first pull every time through all of this process! I am well pleased so far and would highly recommend Powersmart products.I will be getting another with a parallel cord to Double my power availability.

I upgraded to this inverter model from a standard loud generator, and the difference is night and day. It seems to sip fuel compared to my old one, staying efficient even when I’ve got multiple things plugged in. The build quality feels premium—everything is tucked away neatly, and the handle is sturdy. It’s perfect for DIY projects around the yard where I don't want to drag out a hundred feet of extension cords. Very impressed with the performance so far.

Great Generator! Easy to use and easy to move around
I am general contractor, we need the power generator for a project that has no electricity. The crew said can't go wrong with a Honda Brand, however the price is $2000ish for the similar features and load. There are many generators available from AMZN, I narrowed to 7 different brands, my final 2 were this and the Champion Brand, I picked this over the Champion due to it is slightly more efficiency and the look. This unit runs very smooth, and pretty quiet. Especially with its ECO mode, one tank of gas can last for few days. The down side for me is that the unit is about 70lbs, which is fine, however with oil and fuel it has over 100lbs. So for me to upload and unload from my work truck is a bite challenge. Otherwise, this is a outstanding generator. I am happy with the purchase.

Bought this for camper, my son's power went out so I gave to him , started on 1st pull and has been powering his essentials for 10 days non stop, ordered a second one put oil and a small amount of fuel started on the second pull.Good investment.

I bought the PowerSmart 3800W generator for camping trips and for emergency backup. I recently used it on a two day camping trip and I couldn't be happier. It's lightweight, quiet, and preforms as advertised. It fired right up every time and I didn't need to use the choke even after it sat for several hours. It runs really quiet and smooth, no reving up and down. I ran two large fans and the two air pumps for the air mattress at the same time, and it barely went above idle. I ran it at night and couldn't hear it over the fans. A group of campers a few sites down from us were using a Predator generator the same size and it was noticeably louder. The only thing I wish was different was the tank size. It will run for about 6.5 hours with two fans on one tank. One person commented that they wished it had a fuel shutoff you run the gas out of the carburetor, but it does run for a few seconds after turning it off to run the gas out of the carb. Seems to be a great little generator so far!
