2500W Inverter Gas Generator HB5025

I bought one of these for camping and was initially very impressed. It's lightweight, easy to carry, isn't too loud, fuel efficient, and started right up for me. I used it for a few hours on a Friday afternoon and it worked great. I packed it up in the tent for the night just in case it rained, and the next day brought it out midafternoon and couldn't get it to start. Then I got it running and it repeatedly shut off like it was overloaded but nothing is plugged in. Now that I got it home, it's running just fine, but doesn't produce power and none of the lights on the control panel function. Still awaiting a response from Powersmart.
